Job Purpose and primary objectives:

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual with strong experience, to provide comprehensive first class, customer focused support to our employees (over 600 people), in an international growing company.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Human Resources Manager, to take leadership of our talented HR Team in Dublin.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Manage the entire HR function of Smartbox in Dublin, bringing your expertise, know-how knowledge and experience to the business
  • Build and develop good relations with management
  • Deploy the HR roadmap, ensuring alignment with the Group's HR strategy
  • Oversee the dedicated recruitment team and support them with all local recruitments and processes
  • Supervise the HR team, including Payroll and manage all HR aspects, such as HR projects/programs, on-boarding for new hires, employee relations, internal communication.
  • Develop and deploy the annual training plan
  • Drive continuous improvement of internal HR activities and procedures by applying best practices
  • Make sure the company complies with the Irish Legislation

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • CIPD qualified/ Degree in Human Resources Management preferred
  • 10 years + experience in HR and/or a similar function in an international company
  • Strong People Management experience
  • Good knowledge of work practices and regulations in Ireland
  • Great ability to manage a wide variety of HR topics, taking into account the requirements of the business
  • Ability to work autonomously and deliver in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail, proactive in approach with the ability to multi-task
  • Team player, customer focused with a positive can-do attitude
  • Good knowledge of work practices and regulations in Ireland
  • At ease working in a multicultural environment
